Monitoring Benefit
The Exchange Online ActiveSync FolderSync Command status test verifies that the FolderSync command synchronizes the collection hierarchy for an Exchange Online user mailbox that is configured to use the ActiveSync protocol from the location where the test is being performed.
How do we verify the monitoring test results?
From the ENow web server, open the following URL to use the Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer:

Follow the instructions to validate that the test mailbox configured for the remote probe can connect to ActiveSync from the Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer. For good measure, we recommend testing with another mailbox account known to have a connection to ActiveSync. Review the results of the Exchange Online ActiveSync FolderSync Command status tests and compare them with the results of the Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer. If there is an error presented that is similar, then consider the possibility of a server or user configuration issue that is preventing the connection to ActiveSync. If there is an issue isolated to the Exchange Online ActiveSync FolderSync Command status test, then consider the possibility of a site configuration issue preventing the connection to ActiveSync.
