Symptom
The Microsoft 365 License Consumption Rate report loads with neither the data table nor the graph shown.
The distinguishing detail is that the report does not display "No Data Available" — it simply comes up empty. If you see the explicit no-data message instead, that is a different problem and this article does not apply.
Cause
A render error in the graph portion of the report halts loading of the data table as well. It affects only the initial page load — the data itself is present and is being retrieved correctly.
Workaround
Force the report to re-render by changing the time period:
- Select a different time period on the report — for example 30 days.
- The graph and data table populate.
- You can then switch to any other period, including the default of 90 days, and the data displays correctly.
Fix
This was observed in Mailscape 365 7.13.3, with a fix targeted for 7.13.4.
If you are running a current release and seeing an empty License Consumption Rate report, do not assume it is this issue — open a support ticket, since the cause is likely to be different.
Applies to
Mailscape 365 7.13.3. Earlier versions may also be affected.
