EMS Installer fails to launch

Symptom

Setup.msi fails to launch when installing EMS.

Cause

This issue may be caused by Windows security mechanisms that block files originating from external networks such as the Internet.

Workaround

  1. Right-click the Setup.msi file and select Properties.
  2. Under Security, select the Unblock checkbox and click Apply.
  3. Re-launch Setup.msi.
