The newest v8.4 ENow Management System release builds on our momentum towards improved alert intelligence and enhanced user experience!
This release brings continued enhancements to Alert Intelligence, significantly reducing false positives and ensuring only meaningful, actionable alerts reach our clients NOC and remote teams. By combining this with the new baseline feature, teams can eliminate the guesswork and focus on what truly matters.
Other highlights in this release include:
- Admin Console Migration – We're continuing to move controls/configuration settings into the Web Console, simplifying troubleshooting and improving usability.
- New Report – A Domain Controller Failed Authentication Activity report is now available for deeper insight into authentication issues.
- CFLO Report Enhancements – Fields now word-wrap for improved readability and usability.
- A range of additional improvements and fixes to further streamline our client's experience.

New Features
- Add user-based attributes as optional columns to Exchange Mailbox and Exchange Traffic reports (21338).
- In this release, we are happy to announce the delivery of new user-based column options for the Exchange Mailbox and Exchange Traffic reports. This new option will assist admins and other team members with identifying details about the users that may be relevant to the user’s mailbox or email activity.
- Enhance the Disk Performance monitoring alert to identify logical disks (20988).

- Introducing the Domain Controller Failed Authentication Activity report (21190).
- In this release, we are happy to announce the delivery of the new Domain Controller Failed Authentication Activity report. This new report will be focused on providing details on helping organizations to audit the instances when a failed authentication event occurs.

- The data from all your monitoring Domain Controllers is available in a single report.
- Save time to know that you will not need to gather event information or write your own query with another tool.
- Empower other Admins to manage their accounts.
- Reduce the burden on Enterprise and Domain Admins.
- Reports are available whenever you need them.
- Reports go to the reason level, and you can monitor as many Domain Controllers as you want without limitation.
- Audit history can go up to any number of days since it is stored in the Mailscape SQL database.
- CSV export supports more than 10,000 rows.

- Introducing Alert Intelligence (21241).
- Are you looking for a more accurate way to monitor and alert on Microsoft 365? The ENow Management System now offers Alert Intelligence for many of the Microsoft 365 workload monitoring tests that you are already leveraging. The results of enabling Alert Intelligence will reduce false positive alerts significantly and lead to only meaningful alerts to be delivered to your NOC and remote teams. Eliminate all the guesswork by using the recently added baseline feature along with the new Alert Intelligence to make sure that only the monitoring alerts that matter are received. You have complete control to set the configuration of your baseline pattern and Alert Intelligence options.

Known Limitations
| 16426 | The Exchange Back up status monitoring web page has an alignment issue when mailbox databases have names that are 64 characters in length. |
| 18248 | The Microsoft 365 License Modeler report does not allow for the removal of add-on SKUs. |
| 18356 | The Microsoft 365 License Modeler does not recognize any of the Microsoft 365 Business level SKUs as a base SKU. |
| 19223 | A negative integer or a maximum value of 2147484672 or similar is sometimes returned by WMI when fetching the performance counter information from the Exchange servers. |
| 21123 | If the database size threshold feature is enabled and a database breaches the threshold, then the top-level Disk indicator will be triggered either red or yellow depending on the threshold breached for the Exchange server hosting the offending database. |
